This case is so comfortable. I walk around campus with mine and I have no problems with it. It protects my bass trombone very well and holds everything I need from mouthpieces to stands and mutes. Anything I can find will fit in this bag.
I spent days looking for that perfect trombone case, and I found it right here. This case looked really cool. But my biggest concern was would it protect my horn. Would it be all right if I put it in the band trailer? I tried it, and the result was successful. This is the case that has proven to me useful in all sorts of ways, like protecting my trombone bell, keeping the slide straight, and having a little pouch sewn in to keep the mouthpieces in place.(holds up to 3) I am still amazed at this case because it looks neat, but surely keeps your instrument protected. It has a place to put your music and another where you put your accessories also. If your still looking for that perfect case, this is it!
I am very impressed with this bag. It's similar in concept to Altieri bags, but is easier to use and easier on the wallet. As someone who does a lot of walking, I appreciate the backpack design. Its lightweight and comfortable to wear. The bag is also a first in that it has reflective trim that makes you more visible at night. The bell end of the bag is rigid, so it can be set down upright and opened like a briefcase. The sleeve that holds the slide has very stiff boards on both sides for extra protection of the trombones most crucial and fragile part. The accessory pockets are big and have small pouches sewn into them for mouthpieces, pencils, etc. My only gripe is that that the main accessory pouch is not quite big enough to hold a metal straight mute and a cup mute at the same time. Overall; however, I'm very pleased.
This GIG bag is great. There is plenty of space for mouthpieces, march packs, lyres, cleaning supplies, mutes, stands, and beverages. The bag is constructed solidly, and fits my Yamaha Tenor Trombone perfectly. I really like the style too, and it looks great. The part I love best, is that there are no others like it around my area and this really sets me apart.
