Expression System electronics and a cutaway provide versatility for live performances and high-note access.
The warm, responsive tone of the Taylor 710CE guitar's solid Engelmann spruce top enhances the rich, full overtones of gorgeous solid Indian rosewood back and sides. The rosewood binding--single on the fretboard and combined with a 5-ply black-and-white pattern on the top--combined with an abalone rosette and gold tuners gives this acoustic electric dreadnought a distinctive and lush appearance. Expression System electronics feature patented Dynamic Sensors for more accurate tonal reproduction than you've ever heard. Onboard tone controls. Gloss finish is resistant to cold checking. Cutaway design for easy access to upper frets.

Comments about Taylor 710ce Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar (2011 Model):
I have been playing mine for about 4 weeks. This is a beautifully constructed instrument with a nice bass response due to the Indian rosewood back and sides. The Engelmann spruce top gives this guitar great sustain. Top notch tone, looks and playability. The medium gauge strings it is designed to use allow one to lower the action even further, if desired. It came set up perfectly, as all Taylors do. If you are looking for a dreadnought with great tone and looks, this is the guitar you want.
