Comments about Takamine G Series EG360SC Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Bought this guitar last week. There were three pieces in the store and I tried all three. They all sounded similarly good which is testament to Takamine's strict QC even if China made. Eventually I settled on one with the slightly voluminous, most projected and tonally balanced sound to my ears compared to the other two but only marginally so. Upon inspection it also has the most closely spaced grain for the solid Spruce top. Always wanted a Takamine cut out DN with pick up and although I can afford the Pro series and had a go at the TNV360SC, the EG360SC with similar looks and amazing workmanship for such silly price convinced me I should buy the latter for the time being. Had a jamming session with a couple of friends. They were all amazed at as I still do as to how Takamine can produce such a beautiful, exquisite workmanship and materials and most of all fantastic sounding guitar and sell it at this price. The went to the store with me and bought one each yesterday. I ended up with a set of free strings and a strap from the store!

Buy it! You'll like it!

Comments about Takamine G Series EG360SC Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Wait...did I say you'll like it? You will LOVE it! The gloss coat with abalone trim around the edge of the body and around the sound hole makes the EG360SC a joy to look at. Unplugged, the sound is rich and full. Plugged into an amp, you won't believe your ears. I walked into a local store that had only one of these left... just to try it out before I ordered it online. Once I tried out the EG360SC, I couldn't let it go. I was so blown away by its sound and beauty I had to take it home with me. Once I saw the back and sides are made of rosewood with a spruce top I was immediately interested in this model. Every Takamine guitar constructed with these woods has deep basses that resonate within my soul and highs that soar into the heavens. At this price there is no other guitar company that can give you a guitar even close to the quality of the EG360SC.
