Comments about Florea Recital II Cello Outfit:

The other review agrees with my experience. I've purchased two. The fingerboard and neck were slightly different widths. One sound post was mis-located way far bass side. Pegs were warped and oval. One fingerboard was warped. The nuts show raw saw cuts. Bridge feet were carved to fit, not sanded. A woodworker can address most issues. A luthier is needed for others. Good starter instruments after issues addressed.

I would pass on this one

Comments about Florea Recital II Cello Outfit:

I hate to say, but the 2 examples I have seen of this cello left a lot to be desired. One actually had a big knot hole in the top spruce plate, and the other had a fingerboard so badly warped it had to be replaced. The cello is not of suffcient quality to warrant the expense to do this type of repairs. They can be made playable if one has the skills, or knows a very inexpensive luthier. However, I would opt for moving into a better quality cello - keeping in mind that the setup will still need to be done.
