This drum machine packs a lot of punch for the price. I have found, when hooked up with my computer and Sony sequencing software, the variety of loops I can program are limitless. The drum patterns and patches are of excellent quality. The velocity sensitive pads also allow quite a bit of feeling when programming drum patterns. Now, a professional musician may want more capability or a bigger name, but this can do the job if used properly. All in all this machine is worth every penny.
Finally, a drummer that doesn't complain, drink all the beer, and keeps a steady beat. I host a jam session and use it for that, along with practicing, and it works great. Still figuring out how to program my own rhythms and use with a computer, but it already does the job I need it to. It's also fun to play with the wide variety of different styles!
