A seriously powerful amp for serious bassists.

The Acoustic B100 combo is designed for club and live applications where the sound of its 15" bass driver will fill the room with warmth and punch. It pumps 100 watts RMS into the internal speaker, delivering the classic Acoustic pro's tone in a portable, powerful design.

The 2 bass inputs are designed to accommodate both active and passive bass instruments while the Gain and Volume controls give you complete authority over the character of your tone. Increase the Gain for some old-school rock tones or lower it and turn up the volume for great, clean classic or funk tones. The preamp includes a very natural and tube-like compression as well as a harmonically rich distortion circuit, which keeps your tone musical—even at high volume levels.

The B100 also includes a notch filter to tailor your mids and a 4-band EQ that provides total control over your tone. The parallel Effects Loop allows you to use your bass effects in the signal chain, or you can use the Effect Send as a Line Out to a recording or live mixing board. The series extension speaker jack provides an output for an additional cabinet such as the Acoustic B115 or B410.

The heritage of Acoustic comes through loud and clear in the B100.

I was surprised really

Comments about Acoustic B100 100W 1x15 Bass Combo:

Normally your order it over the internet and you don't know what to expect, and only trying the b200, I took a gamble when I ordered this amp, but all I can say is Wow.
I recieved it, took the box to my room, opened the box, and I, at first thought i was a little small, but I wanted something practical so my next question was "will I be able to hear it when i go to band practice?". And that was when I fell completele inlove with this amp, it has the tone o one of th big and expensive qmps, and it thas the volume... Ohhh the volume... It like the bassist band practice amp it's not too big so you can move it, it can really compete with a 2x12 tube combo and a really lout drummer, and the most important thing of all, the tone. I play in three different bands witncompletely different styles, a progressive metal band, a brit indie rock kind of thing, and fusion jazz band. So when I when to practice with all of my bands, that have completeley different sounds, this acoustic prooved that it's very flexible when it comes to tone, I mean you have to play with the EQ alittle but that's what it is all about. If I had to say this amp has a flaw I'd say it has a small flaw, it doesn't have a line out output, i mean it has the external speaker, but normally in gigs they don't give you a mic for your bass amp so if you gig like that a lot, get the b200, but if you go to really small gigs without monitoring and pa system, get this one... It's a no brainer.

Great Amp. Blows Away Every Other Bass Amp In This Price Range

Comments about Acoustic B100 100W 1x15 Bass Combo:

It is what it is. A solid "10." Amazing bargain. For the price it has fantastic tone. Fully adjustable EQ. 2 inputs. Can plug in headphones and iPods (for practicing.) Consider buying a Tech 21 VT Bass pedal to go with it. Really allows you to get some amazing Ampeg-like/tube tones. Really unbelievable what this guy can do when paired with the VT Bass. You won't beleive your ears.

Big Boom for Little Bucks!

Comments about Acoustic B100 100W 1x15 Bass Combo:

This is an awesome amp for the price. You get a lot of power, tone options and quality for what you would pay for an amp from the other brands, at half the power. In practise with other guitar players, I can hold my own with their tube amps. I haven't played out with it, so I don't have an opinion, but I rarely go over 3 in practise, so I think that it would hold it's own in small venues. It can power an extension cab, so that may be an option.

The tone is very sweet. Deep and rich to light and clean when you want it.There is alot of response with the overdrive and notch filter knobs. Unlike other brands, you can really dial in the tone and sound you are looking for.

Wish it had a footpedal, Acoustic, can you hear me!
