Simply the best practice amp period

By Todd Weller

from Topeka, KS

First of all, this is a practice amp. Not a gigging amp. It is in my opinion the best little practice amp around especially for it's price range. It sounds great, has a wide variety of tones and effects, and even has built in loops to play along with. Tone wise you have everything from clean to mean. I especially love the tone of the hot rod amp model. It's like SRV on steroids. The effects are basic but very usable. I generally just ad a little delay. I teach and use a couple of these amps for lessons. They are perfect for that application. Light weight and easy to haul the studio. It has a headphone jack and audio input jack as well. The built in looping synth has a midi controller if want to program your own loops. The only complaint is the tuner. It only does the E string. But that's not a big deal. Bottom line, I own and have used many other practice amps in this price range including a vypyr and a rocktron - this amp sounds much better and is a better value.
