I Just Got This Amp A Few Days Ago And I Can't Believe How Good It Is. It's Really Worth The Money. I've Played A lot Of Amps Before But Marshalls Are Always Better. If You Want A Good Marshall Amp And Are On A Budget, This Is The Amp For You. It Will Also Save You A lot Of Money On Effects, Since It Has Them Already Built in. It Has Flange, Chorus, Delay, And Chorus/Delay, And They Are All Foot Switchable The Distortion Is Pretty Good For All Kinds Of Music. But With A Digitech Metal Master It Makes This Amp Even Better. I Love Marshall Amps

Comments about Marshall MG100HDFX Head:

This amp is awesome, both channels in each mode sounds great, this amp would be perfect if the "clean" and "crunch" were footswitchable ...the 2 overdrives are good but im a crunch guy and alot of the songs I play switch between clean and "dirty" sounds through out so thats the ONLY downfall for me... other than that awesome!!!

Awesome amp.

Comments about Marshall MG100HDFX Head:

I love this amp. As the lead guitarist of my band, I use this amplifier. The distortion is amazing, the clean is so clean and nice. THe only thing I don't like are the effects, just because the effects it has aren't the kind I like. But for the money, it's the best thing out there.

Just Buy It!

Comments about Marshall MG100HDFX Head:

I have had this head only for three days and I can't stop playing. It sounds incredible! Clean, distortion, makes no difference. The sound is rich and deep. I use it with a Zoom G2.1U effects pedal and I am just in awe over the tones and flexibilty. I wish I would have bought this head and cab combo a long time ago.

i just bought this amp last night.. i plugged in and i was amazed. its an awsome amp im playing through a crate cab.. the clean tone is awsome.. Im going to have to say the overdrive is not enough destortion for my hardcore liking. Its pretty loud although i havent tried it at practice yet... If your thinking about buying this amp stop thinking and do it youll love it.

Almost perfect

Comments about Marshall MG100HDFX Head:

I bought this cabinet because it was recommended to me by a friend. And I have to say its a great solid state head, but for beginners I wouldn't recommend it because this amp uses a lot of great effects and if you aren't familiar with effects then I would recommend a smaller valve Marshall. but the effects loops could be a bit more easier to read but I don't have trouble with it myself but my rhythm guitarist does. But overall its a perfect, clear, warm, tone with the fdd effect it sounds that much more like a tube amp.

This is a great amp!

Comments about Marshall MG100HDFX Head:

I never thought in my most wild dreams that I would ever use this amp, but I had to use one once by default and it sounded great with the band! I bought one for a backup to all my big dollar heads, used it live once, fell in love, this is now my main amp on stage, and those of you who know me my sound is everything, this amp kicks hard ass!

A Great Buy!

By Evan-2jjQJ

Comments about Marshall MG100HDFX Head:

I have had my Marshall MG100hdfx for about 7 months now and I have used it live, in studio, and for home practice and I must say that it does the job for all those situations. If you want a great Marshall tone for very little money, this is the way to go. The only problem I had with it was the fan going out, but I had it replaced and there hasn't been a problem since. You can get sounds out of this thing that range from S.R.V. to AC/DC to Eddie's Brown sound all the way to Metallica and Anthrax well maybe not quite Eddie's brown sound but its the closest you can get for the money. The "fdd" tube emulation button really adds a lot to the sound. All in all, it's a great buy... I highly recommend it!
