Just right!

By Felonious Thump

from Salt Lake City

I started playing professionally when Fender Bassman were the standard. 60watts and 2-12's, of course all tubes. I have gone through a pile of equipment since, but still could not get the sweet big round warm sound of the Bassman, until now. I decided to make a real effort to get that vintage sound, except with the volume and power that I need today. So I started with the SVPCL, ran it into the Crown CE-2000, then into a couple of 4-12 cabinets. WOW!!! Now I have it all. The sound is just what I have been longing for all these years. I love the clean warn sound of this pre. I also love the warm overdrive that I can get when I want. Easy to set up, easy to use, and the controls give me all the sounds I want. This will most likely be my last amp. I have stopped looking for anything else. To me this is the center of my ultimate bass stack. Try it, it may just be the center piece of yours also.
