Not at all bad

Considering the low closeout price you can't go wrong with this snare. solid construction with good finishing touches. Snares have to be adjusted a little loose to have them leave the bottom head completely in snare off position, but not a big deal. I'm happy with the sound quality and appearance.

LOUD and proud...

By Snaresauce

ok so this snare is really really amazing. its got a very loud high snap to it thats better described as litterally a "shot". it does have some ring but actually not as much as a regular aluminum snare. i was pleased with it even though it's not quite what i was expecting. if you're buying your first one this should be it because its FANTASTIC for the price. the head it comes with is not really all that bad, its coated and works incredibly well with wire brushes. its a whole new sound and believe me you will hear this over ANYTHING. buy earplugs before you buy a second head.
