The DD-6 is great. Probably one of the best pedals out there. If you are thinking it's a bit much to pay for, you may be right. The warp mode and reverse are pretty cool, but I particularly don't use them that much. I would just recommend the DD-3, but if you want some extra stuff, go ahead.
I just got the DD6 a few days ago... and I haven't stopped playing with it since I got it... I have my DD6 hooked up through a mic and have found that I can create an amazing full sound on my vocals with it... its very easy to use... and if not overused... it can improve your live performance by so much that you'll leave your audience begging for more...Only problem is it eats batteries like crazy... I would recommend the PSA-120 to go with it...
I tried this thing out, and man it is one of the nicest pedals out there. I got it to learn some Pink Floyd bass stuff, and it was right on the money, but then I experimented with it and found you can do so much. It introduces a whole new level of styles of playing. GET THIS PEDAL.
This is the best pedal of it's kind, one of the best pedals that boss makes, in my opinion. Well worth the money...it's packed with features. All I can say is buy it...amazing effects can be achieved on the fly in seconds quite easily, it is quite unique.
I bought the DD- 3 and took it back the next day and bought the DD-6, the best delay in the pedal market. It was very cool to play the intro rhythm to fade to black and hold that on the DD-6 and play the lead sound it was incredible. To good to be true. The hold function gives you over 5secs and this makes it worth every penny. It has so many more functions it will be your favorite. There is no limit.
This pedal can do a lot. The variety of delay times is awesome. With the hold mode you can overdub an infinite amount of riffs. Reverse and WARP mode are sweet too.
I have 10 different pedals, mostly boss, and this, without a doubt, is my favorite. I can't get enough of this. It's amazing. Just like the DD-5 but more expensive, but who cares right. Do yourself a favor and buy this to make your pedal board feel complete!
I bought this lovely unit not long ago and I'm addicted! It sounds amazing and is very easy to handle. The warp and hold modes can be used in a variety of useful and productive ways! Now I know I'll have a great lead sound anywhere. I'm totally happy. This is amazing and worth its price. The stereo function is great too.
I own a boss Metal Zone and could never get a good lead/solo sound. With the Boss DD-6 it has amazing delay effects to get better harmonic sounds. This pedal is awesome!!!
