The MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay Pedal features a completely analog audio path for the ultimate in rich, warm delay--made possible only by old-school bucket brigade technology. This design boasts an amazing 600ms of delay time with optional modulation via a top-mounted switch and a simple, three-knob layout that controls Delay time, Mix (dry/wet blend), and Regen (delay repeats)--all in a pedal no bigger than a Phase 90. In addition, the M169 pedal has two internal trim pots that offer user-adjustable width and rate control of the modulation for even more tonal options. The Carbon Copy effect pedal will take you from crisp "bathroom" slap echoes to epic, Gilmour-esque delays with a twist of a knob. True hard-wire bypass, single 9-volt operation, and stage-ready blue LEDs round out the package.

I have owned a few delay's in my life, but this MXR beats them all hands down!!I dont play out anymore, but I use this in my home studio and for the price you wont find one better!!

I never used delay or any effect for that matter as they colored my sound when off and with delays always thought they sounded so artificial and messed up my playing. But the CC, does none of that not only is it transparent when off it seems I keep it on a lot as it never gets in the way with how I play. I always have the mix very, very low and it has really helped my playing style as I play more relaxed as I sound so much bigger in the mix. This delay is the real deal and I would have to rate this as the highest of any pedal I have ever purchased and my top weapon.

A friend recommended this for a film score I'm working on that needs some delayed guitar. This is a great pedal, it has a nice warm, natural sounding delay that really adds a lot. Definitely recommend it!!

I have this delay, a Maxon Ad-999 and a Boss DD-6. I prefer the Maxon in overall tone but this MXR really is right up there. The mod feature is cool too. Maybe a little too subtle. I love the small footprint. I wish MXR wouldn't put the power supply jack on the side of the pedal though. As far as tone this pedal is great. Nice warm repeats although I prefer the Maxon because its repeats are a little brighter. This MXR still sounds very good and for the price I don't know of its equal. And the sparkly paint job is cool too!
I definitely recommend this delay.

A very organic sounding analog delay. Amazing sound quality as well as versatility with the chorus function, combined with the reliability of MXR as a pedal company for making solid, quality hardware. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a decently priced analog delay

I don't currently own this pedal, but I HAVE had the pleasure of playing through one at a jam night. I really love the sound of this pedal, and was amazed by the beauty of the sound coming out. I play an Epiphone Les Paul Special II lefty, and it just blew me away. You would be missing out not to buy this baby.

I can't say enough about this pedal! I used to have one of the original Analog delays and I about cried when it went south on me after years of playing. I have tried a number of analog delays since then, such as the Boss and Ibanez pedals, but they never really came close. The digital delays were OK, but they lacked the warmth of the analog ones.When Dunlop finally decided to reissue and update the pedal, I jumped on it! The same sweet, warm repeats and lush washes were back, and they even upped the ante by adding the capability of modulating the delays! This is a must have pedal for anyone who wants to really add a quality delay to their sound.
