Overall: This is the best amp I ever used and is the most over priced amp I ever used. It sounds great but who can afford that kind of amp to throw around traveling from one show to another plus it's too much for studio work. It's great just too heavy, cost too much good amp. too high in price but a great great .too much power for studio amp,Too heavy for me. but a great amp If you can afford it.It's a country classic good on steel guitar to. &| Review By: Peter | 2 years, 1 month ago1 people out of 1 found this review helpful
Overall: Never in my life have I heard a cleaner sound. Absolutely gorgeous. My only criticism is that there isn't an effects loop. It'd be nice to place a volume limiter in an effects look on this amp...it can be overpowering for some venues.| Review By: Petur Blöndal | 2 years, 8 months ago0 people out of 0 found this review helpful
Overall: This amp has got a lot of character, its got the great fender sound and has a lot of power! Just wanted to get my point of view in here. i bought this amp because i wanted to be able to play at high volumes and still get a clean tone from my tube amp. With the fender twin reverb i really got what i wanted, its the best clean sounding amo you can get. the beautiful reverb and the nice vibrato. when i want drive i use my fulltone ocd pedal, which is very nice. So if you want a amp that| Review By: Telepicker1 | 3 years, 2 months ago2 people out of 2 found this review helpful
Overall: I purchased my Twin re-issue about 4 years ago and have never been disapointed in the performance. 85 watts of pure, clean, tube power gives you plenty of headroom in medium to larger settings. The appointments and appearance from the black face, vintage looking knobs, to the black tolex covering, and lean back legs make it a picture of beauty as your ears are treated to the clean, smooth sounds you can dial up with this baby. Overall: First off this amp really is great, clean is amazing, and so are any distortions you put through it. But maaaan is this mother loud. Too loud in fact. For anyone who think that they need a half stack to play shows, or 85 watts of tube power through this amp, you are mistaken. Shes beautiful, but way way way too loud unless your a touring musician playing sold out stadiums (and have roadies to carry the beast). Tone comes with volume on tube amps, and to get great| Review By: Mike Manic | 8 years, 4 days ago21 people out of 46 found this review helpful
Overall: I have had this amp since 2002 and it never let me down. The clean tones you will do with this amp will make you love it from the first note. It's warm and creamy. I've played few years on a Marshall, but once I heard the twin, I switched to the Fender sound. The tremolo and reverb are great. I've compared a couple of tremolo and reverb pedals, but nothing came close to the genuine sound of this amp. The only thing that lacks from this amp is a footswith pedal with three buttons| Review By: Melvin-YwTDR | 9 years, 9 months ago25 people out of 53 found this review helpful
Overall: I have a '65 fender twin reverb(original). I do believe it's the best amp ever made! My grandpa used it for thirty years and then passed it to me. I've used it for 6 years and it's still going strong.
