Overall: Through a clean amp, it sounds really smooth.  Sounds amazing playing arpeggios, nice and tight for rhythm work.  However ,you get a very, very loud noise through a dirty amp.  You have to keep the level on the pedal low to eliminate the noise, but that drops the overall level of you signal, so that defeats the purpose of using while playing lead.    | Review By: EJV | 7 years, 5 months ago

Overall: I tested out this compressor versus other compressors like the BOSS CS-3. It's works cleanly without adding any hiss. I use it with my stringray5 and it's given me the just right tone and the additional punch I was looking for. Overall: This pedal is able to hold a guitar note for a very long time and it is very good for doing solos!
