This is one of the best guitars I have ever played. I have played a few strats and more expensive les pauls and I would compare this guitar with any of them. My friend likes my guitar better than his strat and thinks of excuses to play mine instead. The amp is pretty good for coming with a starter package. I just wish it had reverb. The fretboard is extremely smooth and the pickups are good, what else could you want?

I got this guitar about 2 years ago. About 6 months later, things started falling apart. The plug-in hole with some hardware had broken off, the switcher sometimes doesn't work on rhythm, and it NEVER stays in tune if you have it in your bag. For beginners its an ok guitar, but if I knew, I wouldn't have bought it.

The One of a Kind Les Paul Special II

By Austin-XMYD5

from Pulaski, TN

This guitar is amazing. It can give you that good, clean sound, and it can also give you that heavy metal sound and feel. I got mine in ebony and it is the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen. It's comfortable and isn't just for starters. The amp it comes with is great for a starter. The boost switch gives it, like I said, heavy metal or hard rock sound to it. The stock strings it comes with aren't really that bad. Also in the 2 pictures of the package, there is with the tuner the other is with the pitch pipe, those are 2 different packages. I got the one with the pitch pipe. Even if the box says it comes with a tuner and not a pitch pipe, but it comes with a pitch pipe and Not a tuner, just know that there are 2 diff. packs. The pics are all medium and they come in black red and blue. The strap is nice. And I know it doesn't show a power cord (to plug the amp up into the wall) but does, just in case you were wondering. So yeah. Fa nominal guitar, great extras, AFFORDABLE, what more could you ask for?

Great Starter Pack!!!

By Jeffrey Burnett

from Pine Bluff, AR

This is the perfect starting guitar for any young musician hoping to get better. The pickups offer that great basic electric guitar sound that goes well any style or genre. The one tone knob is a great design choice, allowing a customization option that's perfect for beginners. Another great aspect of this guitar is how durable it is. I've dropped countless times, and not even a scratch. I even hit on a rotating ceiling fan, and I barely even chipped it! The amp that accompanies this package is the balance to the guitar. It's just loud enough for you to get that concert feel, but quite enough so you don't wake those around you during midnight practices

This is a very well built guitar, The amp is small but packs a punch. Not to mention it sounds great. It has a very crisp and clean sound.

This is a epiphone so that means you are getting a good brand and you know that whatever comes with it is going to be good.

An all around great deal

By Justin-BYy8t

from Michigan

I recieved this guitar pack as a present. The guitar itself is great, has everything you'll need and it has a wonderful tone. The accessories that come with it are alright but i recommend getting new strings for it because I broke the e string on my first day having it and the sixth string rattles, but once new strings are put on the rattling is virtually gone! The amp, although small, is louder than what I expected and is really good for practicing. I also would recommend a new guitar strap because it was giving me a rash which isn't good when your rocking out. The video it comes with wasn't very good. All it does is tell you how to work the amp, tune your guitar, and change your strings; then after all that it will teach you only three chords. All in all this is a great deal!!

awesome

By Dubsman35

I have been playing this guitar for a little over a month now. I love the way it looks. I have the vintige sunburst. It is not very heavy and is great for the price. it is also great for beginers. If you are looking for something to start with or to keep the price low.

for the price, its really good

By Carlos -vL8Rj

from mexico city

This package is a wonderful deal if you are a "just starting" player, I bought it as my first electric guitar and I loved it (now I own a Jackson and a Marshall stack). Now to the package: the guitar's action is a bit high for me and the frets produce a buzz that I didn't liked. Also the pickups aren't good at all, they produce lots of hum and that stuff. The amp is good for a beginner, good distortion & clean sound. The accessories are acceptable, except for the cable (mine stopped working after 3 days or so) but overall is a really cool package for beginners.

awesome

By Johnny--Hu_N

This guitar, for the money cant beat it. This guitar kicks, and is far easier to play than the Fender Squier. Only problem, amp. If you wanna play serious music, need to get a larger amp. Quality is far superior to any guitar in its class. Would highly recommend it to a beginner or someone who wants a quality guitar for an entry level price.

Great Guitar Still

By Alexander Geiger

from Temperance, MI

I got this package about 3 yrs ago, I am still satisfied with it now, the only thing after the 1st year the amp for it has a huge hum just like a bee. I would recommend buying a new strap after time because mine kept falling of the pins, then I had to stop playing to catch my guitar. But, the guitar is great the clean tone I don't really care for so I use my Ibanez for that, but with distortion it is GREAT!!! The neck is very comfortable, and the stain is beautiful!
