Overall: Don't be affraid to spend a little money here folks. I played cheap guitars for years before I decided to buy a real guitar. This one is perfect. The sound is awesome. Balanced and true, it isn't lacking anything. You'll have to get her set-up as the action from the factory is a bit high. Add a custom bone nut and saddle like I did and you won't be disappointed. A great guitar is worth it's weight in gold, and this one is gold through and| Review By: rivirat | 6 years, 8 months ago9 people out of 21 found this review helpful
Overall: I wanted the best guitars for the kind of music I play. (country, rock, ballads)I thought I had the best and was satisfied until I saw & played the Songwriter Deluxe.I could not resist it and finally had to have it in my collection.I am very focused on the type of sound and playing style and therefore have 3 very similar guitars. They are all Rosewood Cutaways. The Martin DC16RGTE, Taylor 714c, and now the Songwriter deluxe.I am not going to say one is better than the rest. Overall: This guitar is truly one of the best ever made. This Gibson comes factory ready. No need to change anything. I've read some people comment on the action being to high. Not true. If the action is too low, it's harder to play lead...(can't find the strings as easy.) Another quality of this model...., You can purchase it in an acoustic electric cut away, which is what I have. I play mine through a Marshall AR 50 acoustic amp.....What a sound!!! Save your money, and buy| Review By: 30yr Guitar Player | 7 years, 7 months ago46 people out of 72 found this review helpful
Overall: Right out of the box, this guitar is playable. It is that close in tune. The fit and finish is exactly what you would expect of a Master's Guitar, even one that would cost 5x's the price. The sound is warm and true. I read several reviews before deciding on this model over the Sheryl Crow signature. It was never about having Sheryl's copy, it was about the individual guitars. Although I read 2 reviews about the action being a tad high, and then thought the same thing, the| Review By: Guitarman7 | 7 years, 11 months ago28 people out of 41 found this review helpful
Overall: Great guitar. A 10 out of 10 in all aspects. The guitar is breathtaking to look at it and the sound is incredible. This is one of the best Gibson acoustic guitars out there. By far one the best acoustic guitars I own. The sound is so powerful and resonant with warm balanced tones. You will not be disappointed with this guitar. Highly recommend!| Review By: Randy Godfrey | 9 years, 4 months ago10 people out of 26 found this review helpful
Overall: This guitar is an easy player with lots of low end base. Great for finger pickin' and strummin'. I wish the pick guard was smoother on the edge. Check out this guitar.
