Without trying one in a store, I ordered one here. This guitar sounds great, is easy to play, and set up was awesome out of the box. It's louder than my J45. I would say the tone is brighter and has a stronger midrange. The strings are a bit light for my taste. I wouldn't lower my rating for such a small gripe. It is a travel guitar afterall. The included gigbag is sturdy enough and I will be taking this guitar on my next flight.

With it's small body and frame it is the perfect guitar for easy transportation. It is great to take camping or to do any other kind of traveling with. I know you will like this guitar as much as I do! Plus it does not compromise any of the great classic Taylor sound. A great overall guitar!

It`s great for seasoned players like myself and I would recommend it for any one that`s interested in learning guitar.
