Overall: It was purchased as a gift so I haven't used it. My review is for the company. Everything I ordered arrived safely and very quickly. I am very pleased with their service and would not hesitate to purchase from them again.| Review By: corey-9EEak | 2 years, 6 months ago9 people out of 10 found this review helpful
Overall: I dont know anything about dulcimers, but I got this today. I play a lot of different stringed instruments, this seems to be a fine for a beginner, and its small, and cheap so I can take it anywhere in my ukulele bag. Immediate shipping from the company very impressive!| Review By: Roger-T0p9K | 3 years, 2 weeks ago7 people out of 8 found this review helpful
Overall: Just received my dulcimer and it's more than I expected- nice fit and finish. I wanted one to complement my house decor, for learning the basic tunes and for a reasonable price. This model fits all my criteria.| Review By: Dulcimerist | 4 years, 9 months ago16 people out of 20 found this review helpful
Overall: These Romanian-made Apple Creek dulcimers are really hit-or-miss on quality. For the price they're decent for beginners, but a better-quality instrument is much easier to learn on. In my 22 years of playing dulcimers, this is probably the worst brand I've come across. Save up to grab an entry-level McSpadden dulcimer would be my advice.| Review By: Darlene | 6 years, 3 months ago136 people out of 209 found this review helpful
Overall: I bought this dulcimer while visiting Pigeon Forge Tennessee. I have never had formal music lessons and I do not read music. I am self teaching myself to play. I love this dulcimer. The sound is full and rich and I am loving it.| Review By: Joe-VReBL | 6 years, 10 months ago105 people out of 136 found this review helpful
Overall: I scrutinize the quality of construction of stringed instruments harshly, and this particular dulcimer - though simple - is truly flawless. Every centimeter of joinery is solid as a rock, and the woods used are surprisingly good quality. Its simplicity is its beauty, and it's so reasonably priced that even a 12 year old paperboy could afford it! Yes it is a small bodied instrument, but it has very, very good sound nonetheless. I bought it as an entry-level "axe" for my 47 year old| Review By: marty's dad | 6 years, 11 months ago40 people out of 61 found this review helpful
Overall: I've never had a dulcimer before so I bought this just to have a little fun. It has totally fulfilled my needs. It's fun, easy to get some music from, and a very reasonable price. It's a terrific instrument!!| Review By: Mr. Franklin | 7 years, 4 days ago51 people out of 76 found this review helpful
Overall: I purchased several of these instruments for my elementary music classes and found them to be well constructed with a fine tone. I've played several dulcimers and, while this is a beginner level instrument, the Applecreek company have done themselves proud with this instrument!!| Review By: Billy-i613w | 7 years, 4 months ago68 people out of 102 found this review helpful

Overall: As a long time musician, I've played most any stringed instrument. I found the Applecreek Dulcimer to be an excellent instrument. The price is right for the quality. It is a very playable little piece that's well worth the modest investment.
