Overall: I came across this tuner through a professional guitarist friend. After using hers, I immediately bought one for myself. I have never been disappointed. I use it to tune my classical, acoustic, banjo and mandolin, never with any problems. The readout is clear and simple. It fails to pick up low E on the Classical about half the time, though. It has never been a real problem.| Review By: Lisa Miles | 7 years, 1 month ago80 people out of 132 found this review helpful
Overall: Parents of my beginning violin students have found the Intellitouch tuner to be much simpler than the the tuners which require a constant, stable, audible tone to register the pitch. Just clip on to the pegs and read the pitch! The tuner works by picking up the vibration of the instrument and can work with plucking the strings. The clear read out shows sharp (high) and flat (too low) in in easy to read large digital screen. It's also small enough to fit in most cases! A great travel
