Combat string grunge!
Gauges 10-13-17-26-36-46.
Elixir Electric Guitar Strings are covered with an ultrathin, space age polymer tube that contacts the string on the tops of the windings only. This leaves the all-important winding-to-winding-to-core space free from the fear of the enemies of tone! No more gunk and goo. No more DNA evidence. No kidding.
In addition to an ultrathin grunge-resistant tubular coating on the wound strings, Polywebs now have a revolutionary Anti-Rust plating on the plain strings to extend their life too.
Elixirs are the first major innovation in guitar strings in over 40 years, and deliver what they promise: great tone and long life no matter what you put them on or how often you play.
Tired of restringing all the time? Give Elixirs a try today!

I was thrown off at first by the price tag on the strings, but after playing on them for about a year, I've realized that they last about three times longer than any other strings I've played (d'addario and Ernie ball, mainly). They feel good as new even after extensive playing, and keep a very strong tone, unlike other strings, which seem to die after a few weeks. They pay for themselves after a while, and the tone is unmatched. Highly recommended.

Also, if you look at the images for the product, you will see they read "with Anti-Rust plain steels". Music123 will not send you the correct product. I received three (3) packs of Polywebs, just as I ordered, however, none of the three contained anti-rust steels. None of the boxes said anti-rust in the front. Each pack of strings lasted about two days until they tarnished, and here I am, a week later, and I just went through 3 packs of Elixirs.
Be sure to call Music123 ahead of time to confirm that you are going to receive what you want. Watch out for the misleading information on this website.

ELIXIR STRINGS
Comments about Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings:
Let me put it this way.. When i am saying Grace during Thanksgiving and i am saying what i am thankful for...ELIXIR POLYEWEB strings are on that list. i have tried DR strings, which did not last to long. the elixir strings have lasted a very long time as advertised and still somehow maintain their tone. I just purchased 20 packs of these strings..For 8 dollars a pack...thats a steal!

BEST STRINGS OUT THERE!
Comments about Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings:
Yes they are about twice the price but last about 4 or 5 times longer than regular strings. I use to use D'addario which are great regular strings. Everyone has there preference, I have 2 strats, and 2 les Pauls, I love them on the strat! I recently tried them on one of my Les Pauls after using DR brand strings. For LP's I highly recommend DRs. If you want the coated polymer get the DR coated strings.

Great - tremendous - BUY THEM NOW
Comments about Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings:
I, like so many others, was put off at first by the fact that these strings are a little expensive - but after using the strings I can say - they are by far the best I've used. In the past I've used all sorts, from d'addario & ernie ball to gibson and fender - none of them come even close to the elixir's - only one bad thing... After being so used to the other strings - first time I played live with the elixirs, I was playing a lead and slid about 4 frets too far in the middle of the lead break... These strings absolutely blow every other string away - I'd simply say - BUY THEM, BUY THEM NOW

Go somewhere else
Comments about Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings:
I tried both the Nano & Poly Web versions becaus of the great tone & slickness of the strings but they break way too easy. Some people have said you don't have to play harder just turn up your amp. You can do that but your not doing it right if you're not giving it your all.

I've tried many many strings, like DR's, blue steel, De'Addario, Fender, Ernie Ball and most of the other big names. I found that Elixers were the best. Simple as that.Very smooth feel, LONG life. A+. Try them!

awesome
Comments about Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings:
I recently strung my BCRich with the Nanoweb superlights and they sound amazing! The coating makes it especially comfortable to play metal riffs because it isn't as harsh on the old fingers!
