The top-loading VocoPro Duet II Karaoke System plays CD+G discs, while a dual-cassette deck records your own tapes from CD+Gs or cassettes. A 12-step digital key change controller raises or lowers the key of any song in half-step increments without changing the tempo of the music. The Duet has host microphone inputs with separate volume controls for 2 singers. The 5-band graphic equalizer allows the host to adjust the high, mid, and low frequencies. It has four - 2-way, high-output stereo speakers for quality sound. Expandable, the Duet has pre-out jacks for connection to external systems. It uses 110V AC or an optional 12V DC car adapter.

Yes, I am certainly enjoying my new Duet II. I love it's compactness, much lighter and smaller than my old system, and yet the quality of sound is just as good if not better. I had already purchased the VHF-3005 wireless mike system from Voco-Pro, so I'm using them rather than the wired mikes that came with the Duet. So that makes the whole system even better. One small negative is that I can see a bit of inferior quality in the play, rec, rew, ff, and stop/eject buttons for the cassette players. They are not of sturdy manufacturing and tend to move side to side. And the right side cassette deck seems to have trouble accepting cassettes now and then. You have to put it in just right in order to close the door. But overall, I am very satisfied with the unit as well as the price.

Tried to us the Vocopro in a seniors residence setting and it lacked the power to project the musiic and vocals in a small recreation room - suitable for chldrens room only.

This machine is great. I returned another today & purchased this one instead. What a difference. The Mics are surprisingly made very well & Have a decent sound. The digital key change feature is great for those tracks that are in the wrong range for your voice. The sound is clear & there is no distortion. The Mic cable is good quality as well. There isn't as much sound from the speakers as I thought there would be. But, I connected it to my existing sound system & it was great. One thing I was surprised of, I received a carrying case & CD case with the system. When I opened the CD case, there 6 Karaoke CDs included with the system. The other system I bought was comparable in price & was suppose to have 2 CDS included & I didn't even receive those. This is a great Karaoke system for all.
