When you read the description, they are not kidding about LOUD. I used them for the first time last weekend and these bad boys get so clear and loud. I used the 2000 S for 5 months till I lost it, these are definitely a step up. They have superb sound. They are lighter around the neck area than the 2000 S however, the construction is more solid with thinner cushion around the cups. Being a DJ, I constantly slip them on my head and back on my neck. The ear cups kind of squeeze your ear closer and more flushed against the ear cup, to some that may also provide some discomfort. But over all I think this is Stanton's best breakthrough since they came out with Final Scratch.

These headphones are crazy. You must get a pair if you love your music. The sound is crisp and they are so comfortable. You can't feel them on your head. These headphones look sweet too. They are amazing.
