The SLX2 includes timed backlit LCD display, frequency and power lockout, and "Mute" functionality. Its design allows for interchangeable microphone cartridges. This is a terrific all around use microphone. I have used one for the past 3-4 years and the quality is exceptional. It only takes a few seconds to find and lock in a strong clear channel. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a "step above" other mics. Another great feature is the 2 AA batteries. These keep this mic going for 8 hrs or more. A very nice cost savings feature. It also is a very attractive mic to have on stage and I have gotten several compliments on it. When we perform with other groups, their vocalists always want to use our stuff!!!
