Great Little Amplifier

By Michael Higgins

from Kennesaw, Georgia

Comments about Rolls HA43 Stereo Headphone Amp:

My problem started when I purchased a new Sony LCD TV. The set had no headphone output. Well I used the TV headset output to drive my "mother-in-law''s wireless headphone set at so so volume. Well the new TV has only a Audio Line Out using RCA jacks. So I hunted around for a quick 20 dB of gain and good clarity in a powered amplifier. This product has fit the requirements perfectly. Mom now has an extra 6 dB to play with on volume and ravs about the new clarity and louder sound level (tought to grow old). The amp design also gives me 3 spare channels in case 1 fails. Controls and In/Out jacks also fit the bill for me. Thanks to Music 123.

Comments about Rolls HA43 Stereo Headphone Amp:

I use this at work mostly where I don't have great equipment it more than makes up for the shortcomings of there. I love this little guy. More than a year of rugged use in my backpack every day and it's still going strong. Built like a tank :)

Good bang for the buck

By Sean Morse

Comments about Rolls HA43 Stereo Headphone Amp:

I bought one of these in a pinch before a tracking session and it's done me very well since. It's not a high-end pristine distribution amp, but it does the job nicely, and it's loud enough for a drummer to hear with room to spare. No complaints from me or the 2 bands I've tracked using this unit.

A good value

Comments about Rolls HA43 Stereo Headphone Amp:

This amp is a good value for the money. Very solidly built, and has the feel of good stage musician gear. It should last for years. Substituting a better quality power supply than the inexpensive wall wart (preferably regulated) accompanying the unit definitely improves the sound (which is decent, but unremarkable from an audiophile perspective).
