The QSC RMX 1450 Power Amp combines rugged high-output design with the latest circuit technology to deliver unmatched performance at a breakthrough price. RMX power amps require only 2 rack spaces and feature 1/4" TRS, XLR, and barrier strip balance inputs; binding post and Neutrik Speakon outputs; front-mounted gain controls for easy access; independent and defeatable clip limiters; selectable low-frequency filters (30Hz or 50Hz) that protect speakers and increase headroom; signal and clip LED indicators; independent DC and thermal overload protection on each channel; variable-speed fan. All include a 3-year warranty. Stereo: 280W @ 8 ohms, 450W @ 4 ohms, and 700W @ 2 ohms. Bridge mono: 900W @ 8 ohms, 1400W @ 4 ohms.

I use it to drive a pair of JBL MPro 212 full range speakers in a Sat/Sub config. I have only used it a couple of times, but it is very easy to use, quiet and stays cool. Ran it for several hours at practice, then several hours for a gig playing CD's through the break. It was just as cool as when I cut it on 4 1/2 hours earlier. I was looking at Crown CE series, and a sound tech talked me into this one. I'm very happy, especially with a 6 year warranty. What are you waiting for?

I just built my first subs last month(2 15" drivers, each in it's own 12ft^3 vented box), and bought a QSC RMX1450 to drive them. I recently added two Community MVP35's for the mid/highs, also powered by a QSC (the RMX850). I'm not DJ or club sound guy, this is my home stereo setup. For the money, *nothing* beats these amps! They're very versatile, fairly quiet, and built like tanks! Eat your heart out, Dave Workman! (President of Sound Track)
