Super Mic Clip
Comments about ProLine Rubber Microphone Clip:
This clip works great. Very tight. Beware, you'll need two hands to get the mic in and out of this. No worried about having the mic fall out of this. Well constructed if hard rubber, and I expect it it to last quite some time

Holds On Tight
Comments about ProLine Rubber Microphone Clip:
This is a great mic clip for any standard size microphone that you want to stay right where you put it. Shove your mic in this clip to the point of snug and you will likely then need two hands to remove it.
Of course, on the flip side, the tight grab does mean that an instrument-free lead singer that likes to spontaneously toggle between hand and stand a lot, may find that the clip is actually even too snug. Though that would depend on how far they shoved the mic into the clip, each time.
Another detail that might slow your frequent toggler down, is the fact that the slot for the cable to slip through is pretty small. So, depending on the size of the mic cable you use, your lead singer might find themselves fighting slightly to get the mic in and out of the clip, and then accidentally spicing up the lyric they were singing at that moment. (Of course, with some genre's that might be a good thing, I suppose.)
The clip will expand to let a larger cable pass, but it is definitely a two-handed process. It may be that the slot will open up a bit with use, as far as that goes. In fact, it would be a simple matter to file the slot a bit, perhaps just beveling the edges inside and out so that a thicker cable would find the slot a tiny bit quicker.
Anyway, these clips are very nicely made, hold tight, and will keep the mic in whatever position you put it, even if upside down. I don't see much potential that you will ever be breaking them, or even wearing them out, really. They are made with rubberized plastic that seems very similar to the other mic clips, but the surface is not quite as slick, and since the collar is much thicker, it is also stiffer and subsequently offers the much snugger grab, depending on how far you push the mic in.
You'll love the clip for all your mic hugging needs, except perhaps with the lead singer scenario I detailed above, which would depend more on their particular style and preference. Once they knew what to expect, they might actually wind-up liking the firm grab, for that matter.
At this price, you can't really go wrong. It's an excellent value!

Your mics will love you for it
Comments about ProLine Rubber Microphone Clip:
After bashing in the grilles of practically every mic I've ever owned I decided it was finally time to shell out an extra two bucks for one of these. It's impossible to knock a mic out of a rubber clip without putting out a considerable effort. I'll never go back to cheap plastic mic clips, and especially not the butterfly kind.
