Overall: I have owned many fine turntables in my lifetime, I am 60, including the Technics SL 1200, one of which just died on me. I have discovered a replacement that equals the Technics. I had no trouble assembling it, though I wish they had included a more comprehensive Manual. I had a bit of trouble putting my Grado cartrige on the turntable, because I was used to removable shells. I got it on,set it up,threw on a record, and was blown away by the sound that came out of that machine!| Review By: Bruce-LKNaY | 2 years, 2 months ago3 people out of 4 found this review helpful
Overall: This is a no frills entry level turntable. It works fine and is generally well designed and built. The areas I didn't like were the method of attaching the anti-skating weight. Overall: Just a note: to anyone wanting to upgrade to a Moving Coil Cartridge...The Platter make up has so much IRON in it, that a Moving Coil Cartridge is Pulled Flat to the Surface of the Record, and, will not track the record groove. Fact. So, Had to pull off a Denon #DL-160 High Output Moving Coil, and, put the factory Ortofon back on to make the Turntable operate properly. This is a Factory Defect, that is not addressed in any Manufacuturer's Cautions or Specifications.| Review By: Dan-IAAhU | 2 years, 8 months ago3 people out of 3 found this review helpful

Overall: I purchased this turn table after I had built my tube preamp and amplifier. I was running out of money and the price for this table was a steal. I in no way feel like I "went cheap"
