I got this pa system two days ago and love it. it is by far the best system i have ever heard for how portable it is. Yes there are the 8000 dollar concert hall speakers but if you're looking for a inexpensive system this is the one. It has worked well for practice and light performance already. The tweeters could be fuller sounding but is average for pa systems and the bass is full. If you like boomy bass you might want to add on a sub woofer cabinet. Other than that this has been great for two vocalists, a guitar and a bass (playing drums acoustically not through speakers) The reverb is also good. If you are thinking about this PA i would go ahead and get it. It's great.

I bought this product to use for a music club in college. Upon arrival, it looked promising. We set it up at home and tried it out, and everything worked just fine. Come time for rehearsals, the mixer would just cut the signal off at various intervals. This was completely unreliable and unacceptable. We replaced this mixer with a Nady MPM 4130X. The Nady mixer, unlike the Phonic mixer, works. The reason I gave this product 2 stars as opposed to its much-deserved 1 star is that that speakers work fine and are great for their price range. The powered mixer is a dud- a waste of time any money. It does not work.

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I use this for monitor or reinforcement but can be used in a small venue as well for acoustic and vocals or vocal PA setup. Plenty of power for a small gig. If you're on a budget don't pass this one by, and even if you're not, give this a look. For the money this is a great deal. I have two

Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package

By Artie Parti

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I bought the system about a month ago and have used it about 4 times for gigs inside large community centers and outside at parks. I've got to say that for the price, it's a great deal. I use my own Electrovoice mic, however, so I haven't had opportunity to try the mic included. But the rest of the package really delivers a clean crisp sound. I'm using a Guild acoustic/elec guitar, and an Electrovoice N/D 457 mic through a Digitec VocalistLive4. I haven't had the main on the amp turned up past 30% and the system has been very satisfactory. The only detail that I found slightly disturbing is that the amp is advertised as a 100 watt amp. But that rating is correct for 4 ohm speakers. This system comes with 8 ohm speakers which reduces the output rating to 65 watts. But regardless, it's a great deal.

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

Hi from "Down Under ". Recently purchased a 410 and confirm other reports that it is a great "budget" priced system. The included microphone lets it down but paired with a good quality mike I have nothing but praise for it

Great system for the $$$$

By borntoyak

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

This system arrived quickly and everything was in working order. I was surprised at how large the speakers are. They are heavy, too. The set-up was easy to figure out. The options for your sound are pretty good. I'm sure they're not as good as a unit that costs twice as much, but they offer those of us without lots of cash a nice alternative. I am very pleased so far. I have been using it in the basement for practice to learn to play guitar and sing into a mic at the same time. Everything seems to be made with quality. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that needs a small system for band practice, etc. I have not used it for any small gigs so I cannot comment on how it would do in that situation. I wish the mic and speaker cables were 25' or so instead of 20'. The mic works ok for my purposes so far, but I can see that many people give it negatives because when you sing or say B or P sounds it makes that popping sort of noise. I will buy a more expensive mic for future use. The mic would not stop me from buying this set-up or recommending it.

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I am just starting to play acoustic gigs and i was very surprised and impressed with this system .. I plan on buying a more "heavy duty" set of cables for the speakers but other than that the microphone is great ... speakers were a lot bigger than i thought .. over all great value

A Great Deal for the Money

By Phillip Marcus

from poway, California

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I bought this small system recently and took it out on a job - worked great! For light applications, this is a whole lot of sound with excellent tone quality if all you need to do is amplify vocals - don't recommend running an instrument through it. I really appreciate the small size and relatively light weight; I appreciate even more the attention to quality this company put into this product - even the packaging procedures were impressive. Very well-designed and well-constructed. I highly recommend this item.

Awesome Deal!!

By SuperDave!

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I bought this to use mainly as monitors. I used it for the first time for practice and it was great. I play through a stack and do vocals with drummer and bass it was plenty loud, in fact it wasnt even all the way because of feedback. The sound quality is unbelievable in this price range. If you need a small system this is the one, The only small drawback is it is not stereo but still has punchy bass and clear highs!

Great Starter PA

By Guy Walters

from Pasadena, CA

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I recently purchased this system and have only used it a few times with my "garage band". The jury is still out on the longtime durability. But, it seems to be able to punch through our very loud drummer. Very pleased so far. You get alot of gear for the money. Some more features would be nice, but for cost containment, you will not beat this system.

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I was quite suprized at the quality of the equipment verses the dollars spent. The sound produced is very pleasing to the ear. The set up is very simple for people who are not very familar with this type of equipment. For my purpose (family sing alongs) the 410 package is great!
