I bought 2 of these quik release clips and they work very well. It's a great way to change out kick drum mics on a show with different bands demanding to use other kick mics. I keep 2 kick mics in my gear, Shure beta and the Sennheiser 602? ( it's old but still gives great low end without a lot of eq ing). This quik release clip saves time and saves your mic threads also.
Suggestion: before you thread on the mic clip to mic and mic stand, put a small amount of grease or vaseline on the threads. This will help you remove clip when ever necessary-
