The Numark TTUSB Belt-Drive Turntable with USB Audio Interface makes it super easy to digitize your record collection with plug-and-play compatibility with USB-equipped PCs and Macs. It includes everything you need to get music on your computer.
The Numark TTUSB turntable features an adjustable anti-skating control for increased stereo balance, support for 33-1/3 and 45rpm playback speeds, ±10% adjustable pitch control, and a 1/8" stereo mini jack input connector to make transferring cassette tapes easy. The Numark turntable comes complete with EZ Vinyl software, a head shell with pre-mounted cartridge, and all the necessary cables to connect with your computer and stereo playback system.
The Numark turntable also includes EZ Vinyl Converter 2 (PC) and EZ Audio Converter (MAC), two of the simplest ways to record and convert vinyl directly to iTunes or your iPod. EZ Vinyl Converter 2 features Gracenote MusicID technology which analyzes your vinyl and automatically retrieves album, artist, and song information for you. EZ Audio Converter lets you easily enter track information. On Mac or PC, you can now digitally archive your collection to CD or MP3 in just a few mouse clicks.

I received this a few days ago. The very first time I connected it to a pc, the volume was too low to even hear it. I then hooked it up to a sound bar that I had. Again, with the volume cranked to maximum, it wasn't even close to an acceptable sound level (connected to my TV the sound bar will blow you out of the room).
I finally had to connect it to a stereo receiver, Only then could I get the volume needed during playback to listen to an album.
This turntable may work fine if all you're doing is recording and converting music on your computer, but you'll definitely need a good amplifier to run it through if you want to listen to any music directly from your record.

Just received it two weeks ago and it does a great job at converting old vinyl records into digital format on your computer. I'm starting with all my old Beatles albums and they are all coming out very well. Next to no distortion or background noise. It sometimes can't recognize where one track ends and the next pickups but that's the only area I've had trouble with, which isn't the turntable's fault. Often one song just flows into another with not enough break between. I highly recommend this product.

Finally someone had the same idea I had. Now I can save my old albums before they're worn out. I like the fact that it comes with the software and works off the usb connection. The 1/8" stereo minijack will also come in handy for some of the cassettes in my collection.
