THis is the second Nady monitor that we purchased for our church's musicians and I found it to be fairly priced, sound quality is good and it was easy to setup.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

decent vocal
Comments about Nady PM-100 Personal Near Field Monitor:
Great for what they are designed to do. Replaced floor wedges with these on stands and combined with a personal mixer for each vocalist. Every vocalist loves them compared to the wedges. Clear with much less stage noise. Great for a nearly never moved stage like a church. They would not be so great for road trips as the materials would not be durable unless you are careful. Rather thin MDF box, plastic stand mount that is press fit into a hole in the thin mdf- Easily pops out with the slightest mishandling of the monitor. The speaker plays loud and clear for vocals but the thin mdf makes it sound boxy if you pump too much band mix into it. No biggie for vocalists but don't plan to use these as mini monitors for music. Low bass and upper treble is non existent but that's a plus for vocal monitors and to lower stage noise. In summary these are decent, light weight, vocal monitors for a fixed stage or personal home use and a great value.
