The replacement ball for my SM58 Beta mic is just like the original. Screws on without any problem. If you want to replace your grill that has accumulated some rust - these are perfect. You can't beat the price either!

Fits my sm58 like a glove. Good quality metal. The foam is about half as thick, and a little more dense than the original grill. Still does its job very well.

I ordered two of these replacement Mesh Microphone grills to replace the worn out, dented and rusty ones on my old Sure SM-58 mics. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to do. Simply unscrew the old one and screw on the replacement. The quality and build are pretty close to the original... the thickness of the wire mesh is almost unnoticeably thinner then the original and is the only reason I didn't rate a perfect 5. Still, this really isn't a factor. Makes your mic look like new again. At this price, everyone can afford to replace their worn old SM-58 mesh grills!
