Purchased with an MXL condenser mic for home studio use.
Seems to be thoughtfully designed, with rubber cushions on the mounting clamp and a nice, solid-feeling gooseneck. Easy to put on and off and hold steady in place. Works well with close-up vocal recording and doesn't seem to restrict the clarity and openness of voice. Very nice.

I use these pop filters in front of my condenser studio microphones when doing my metal Internet radio show and they really help to eliminate all of those unwanted p-pops that you would normally hear. This helps the produced sound to come across more professional and clean sounding. A very effective pop filter for a great price.

I know people say metal pop filters are better for getting rid of plosives (sounds like P's) but the fact that this uses two mesh filters definitely disproves that.

I have been told that if you put a lighter behind a metal filter and try to blow it out, you won't be able to. Well, as soon as this delivered, I tested this out. Didn't put out the lighter and I managed to spend less for this than I would've spent on a metal one.

I bought two of these studio microphone pop filter and I pleasantly surprised with the performance for the price paid. The double screen definitely outperforms the single screen type of filter, especially for ribbon microphones. You can actually gently blow into the first screen, and your breath is further diffused by the second screen so as to almost be imperceptible behind it. Definitely a studio filtern that I set and forget. The gooseneck is fairly solid but I would not want to articulate it or any gooseneck too much for fear of it becoming loose. The clamp is a little basic but it works. the screens can be gently cleaned but I would recommend it be done carefully to prevent loss of tension. Being a handy person, I have yet to see if I can replace the screens myself but given the cost of a replacement, this would hardly be necessary. In summary, the product performs extremely well for the price paid and I am delighted.

I purchased three of these pop filters to use in my Practice Room on Condenser Mics, A couple of the guys in our group have a tendency to "Wet the Mic" so to speak, These filters are keeping the mics dry. I think I got my money's worth, after all, I didn't pay $70 a piece for them. The clamp that holds to the mic stand could be designed better. I've had them a couple of weeks and so far so good. They may not be major studio quality, but they satisfy my needs.
