I just recieved this card, had no problems with installing into my computer. very user friendly. Have not been able to use all it's feature yet. But I was looking for the full dupex feature and that works great. this makes multi track computer recording a snap.

Comments about M-Audio Delta 1010 LT PCI Digital Audio Computer Interface:

Great item. Get an outboard mixer and you'vegot a nice home studio. For simplicity I likecool edit pro or n-track multitrack software. I record all acoustic instruments no midi or electronic.

A great alternative to the 1010

Comments about M-Audio Delta 1010 LT PCI Digital Audio Computer Interface:

I've been recording my music on and off for the last 20 years in my home. I've played jazz, rock and now just got into the blues. About a year ago I bought a Delta 44. It was a great sound card but only had 4 inputs, which wasn't enough for miking live drums for our blues trio. I looked into the Delta 1010 but the cost of that card is about 600 bucks street price. At this point I bought a Delta omnistudio to sync up to the delta 44 but ran into alot of syncing problems, even though the latest drivers are supposed to sync these cards. I returned my OmniStudio. I was about to spring for the Delta 1010 when I looked at the Delta 1010LT Specs on the M-audio we site. I noticed the frequency responses were very close to identical on each card. The only major difference what the the "LT" didn't have all balanced inputs (It only has two balanced and six unbalanced) and no breakout box. The real test would have to be recording with it. Since I'd been recording with the Delta44 for the last year, I knew what the quality of sound was for the Delta1010, since they both have the same specs. After recording for about one month, I can say that this delta 1010lt is a real gem. I had to buy two Behringer mixing boards for 69 bucks apiece which I use for the preamps. I would have had to have the preamps with the 1010 anyway. I've recorded 14 tracks of 44.1 KHZ mono audio with VST effects running with no clicks or pops. I run a Dual Pentium III, 500 MHZ with 128 megs of SDRAM. If you want a great card for a great price, you can't go wrong with this card.
