The Gem Sound GM16 Microphone is extremely versatile and economical. The GM16 can be used as a wireless with the included snap-on antenna or plugged directly into your audio mixer with the built-in XLR connector. The mic has a wireless range of up to 100'. Includes the cardioid pickup pattern mic, compact FM receiver, transmitter, antenna, 15' XLR to 1/4" microphone cable, battery, and case. The GM16 can be used with other Gem Sound wireless systems. Available in several frequencies.

I purchased GEM 16 in 2007 and used since with mixer for computer based recordings. I dod not not use with wireless as I had no such need. When used with cable connection this mic gives me unique support to my voice - extremly nice and full low tones which I tried to find in other microphones piriced comparably but with no succes. I find it good build in metal giving nicely touch and balance. As I say the most pro is strong clear and warm sound easy to correct to needs. Cons is the mirror shine finishing is tending to oxydase in time making ugly dark grey colour, the print with name is vanish already, the battery operation has no automatic saving switch off. With remote operation I observed some upseting limitation of higher tones. I would recommend it for cable performance and voice recordings. If I had such occasion I'd buy anoyther one.
