Portable and clear, ideal for medium-size venues.

The Fender EXPO SYSTEM is a powered speaker array with an integrated subwoofer that delivers audiophile clarity and sonic detail in a portable, smallfootprint design easily set up in only seconds. The EXPO SYSTEM is the perfect sound system for DJs and instrumental performers. It's also ideal for education, worship and many other presentation applications. Line array systems offer more controlled, focused sound versus traditional loudspeakers that radiate sound in all directions at once. This focused sound translates into improved intelligibility and more consistent sound while reducing the potential for feedback.

The Fender Expo System powered speaker array features dual 6.5” subwoofers matched to a 1” neodymium horn and eight custom-designed 3” midrange drivers, delivering audiophile clarity and sonic detail with ease. The portable, small-footprint design easily sets up in only seconds, thanks to the multi-pin connection system with steel stability bars. The Expo System’s ultra-wide wedge-shaped sound dispersion pattern covers audiences of up to 300 with full, even sound and can be easily daisy-chained with multiple Expo Systems to cover larger audiences and spaces.

    Comments about Fender Expo System:

For it's price, the Expo is good value and surprisingly good sonically. I've owned a pair of original, first generation BOSE L1 System + Subs set up that I liked the sound of but didn't really care for the foot print size, weight and lack of tower stability. I built plywood cases to move the units so the carry bags included were nice but not really protective> Like the fact that they are an option with the Fender Expo because I didn't have to pay for them and am building a rolling case that houses both units I have. The expo is great for vocals, acoustic/electric instruments, keyboards and miced instruments (guitar amps, harmonica, horns, etc.). I use a mixer with effects and 2 Expos for the band and send everything through it except our bass. Its sound is not BOSE but then at 1/3 to 1/4 of the price, it more than holds it's own in rehearsals. In a bar or hall of 250 - 500 loud, sweaty dancers, or a backyard/street party or the like, it easily sounds as good as Springsteen in a 20,000 seat hockey/basketball venue. The BOSE would win head-to-head in a studio, string quartet recital or jazz cafe. Anywhere else, the Expo has enough sound quality and juice to handle our 6 piece band. It's also nice and light, sets up in in 90 seconds and has a foot print less than a square foot per unit. If I were a DJ playing heavy bass dance music I would add a 15" sub. Overall, it's tough to beat the value the Expo provides. Based on what I've seen, I believe that the Expo is a private labelled Maui 11...
