We use this for small club gigs 100-300 persons. Sets up in little time, easy to switch from sound to timed ( run from stage ). Like option of linkable packs; less cable clutter for crowded stages.

I got one of these SF-9005 controllers, man let me tell you they are great. There are easy to use, all you have to do is take about ten min of your time to play with it and you got figured out. I use it in my band for the out front lights on the dance floor. The crowd loves it, makes them feel like they are part of the show. All you band guys and girls know how important it is to make the crowd feel at home and this can do it. The sound activation works awsome and the timed chase gives the bigger light effects time to cool down inbetween cycles. The only thing I dont like about the SF-9005 controller is when you have it on the time chase, and you only use two or three of the channels on each bank, the one or two you are not using will have a blackout time for one timed chase sequence. Not a big deal just fill all the channels and there you go no blackout spot. Hey make for an even better light show. I would recommend this controll for all bands and all Dj sound systems. GREAT GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!

This controller is very easy to use, looks great, and chases very acurately. Looks great hooked up to 8 par cans and a strobe. There is no lag at all on the chase. I use 2 relay packs and they are both right on sync. My only quibble is that the holes do not line up correctly for a standard vertical rack (I had to drill them out so I could screw it in). I believe they are for a horizontal type rack, which I don't use. Just keep in mind that you will need a bit of drilling for a good fit but it's not a major issue at all. Great product, highly recommended.
