Fast delivery. I actually am only using 4 of the microphones. I have 3 attached to Conga, Quinta & Djembe' Stands. They pick up nicely as I have wood broadcasters below the Conga set & the Djembe' swings over its stand. I took the Bass Microphone put it on a table top stand under the Conga set. The microphones are connected to a Fender Pro150 & mixed. The pickup is 100% better than my old arrangement & very neat in looks. Great value, well made & nice looking. I am sure they would work even better on a Drum Kit. You will need Phantom Power on two of the instrument microphones. I am already using a MLX990 for that & vocals.

First off, I needed an inexpensive way to mic a drum kit for a band where the p.a. is not moved to a different venue each week. I was just using 2 overheads (exactly like what came in this kit) and an inexpensive AKG vocal mic for the kick. Hey, this is what I had to work with, but of course, not what I wanted, and as a result I got by with moderate success. With this kit, I can actually get a much better drum sound all around. The main thing is more power and presence in the toms and a kick that is punchier along with the low end I was looking for. All I had to do for the kick was scoop out some lo-mids and it cleaned right up. Mic placement is key, especially with the overheads and kick mics, so experiment with that and you will find what you want. I'm not especially fond of the integrated mic clips and clamps, but they are easy to work with and it does eliminate some stands. Just be gentle with them. I've been using them for a month and so far, so good. Overall, if you are careful with these, they are a bargain and well worth the money and sound just fine for live work. You could spend 5 times what these cost for say, some Audix mics, and I probably would if I had some cash to throw around, but this is a real deal and they suit my needs perfectly.

This is the first set of mic's for my kit that I've ever purchased. Given the price, I didn't think they would be anything more than just OK.
These mic's for the price are outstanding.
I was amazed at the clarity, frequency response and the gain before feedback issue.

I was a little unsure of the sound quality that I would get out of these at first, mostly because the price is low. But, I was truly amazed at how well they pick up the drums true tone. I found out really quick that one of my toms was a little out of tune! haha Truly a great product from a great name in mics!!
