I got this mixer because my multitrack recorder has no EQ function (that's what you get for cheap), so I'm using it as like a preamp/pre-eq thing, and I'm pretty happy with it. It'd be nice if the thing had faders instead of knobs, but that just a preference thing, really. It does what I need it to do right now very nicely.

For the price the unit has a ton of options. The mic pre-amps work great, Very low noise, as good as most of the high priced pre-amps. The 3-band equalizer for each channel is great, something you don't get at this price point. The unit is very noise free and never a click or hiss when adjusting anything.

I bought this little mixer to use with my PC DAW. A very modest set up as I'm just getting into PC recording now, but WOW! For the price this mixer will surely surprise you. It has some great features. FX send and return, 3 band EQ that sounds very good, the ability to send separate mixes to the talent, convenient routing for monitoring and very nice mic pres. It's made very well. This mixer is certainly going to make me take a good look at Behringers bigger mixers when I'm ready to upgrade. One thing... The blue power light is extremely bright so wear some shades. If you need a small mixer for a super price just buy it. You won't be disappointed.

This is great mixer, but only for certain applications. I bought this thinking there would be enough space for my drum mics (6-7). But it turned out that you can only put in 4 mics if you want them all to be mono. Otherwise this is an excellent mixer with great EQ's.

Shopped around quite a bit for a low priced quality mixer for home and this one fits my needs perfectly. I have connected a guitar amp, keyboard, computer, cassette deck and a wireless headset. Very low noise even at higher levels. Very easy to understand and work. Seems to be built quite solidly with good quality hardware, and is attractive. Nice to have room for expansion. The only minor drawback is the lack of an on/off switch, but that is really no problem as I just plugged it into a switched outlet strip. HIghly recommend this unit.
