I seen all types of EQ systems out there, some you pay just for the name.This EQ does the job for our band, we use it only on the monitors.The monitors are the closest speakers near us and we want to hear every instrument and vocals.When it is setup playing live, what you hear on your monitors is what the crowd hears through the main PA system. This is a permanent fixure in our main rack system. once it's setup it only takes a little tweeking to get going.You can't beat the price for a good EQ.

50 years in the music scene, and carrying around stacks of equipment to insure the sound is correct, is eliminated by this single unit! It's all there, it shows you where the problem is, and a slight adjustment of the slider (s) and the problem is gone! Best 'bang' for the buck! There are other units out there that cost more, but in comparison to functions, that's all they do, cost more! Very user friendly, and easy to understand. A permanent unit in my rack!

I am writing this as a follow up to my previous review. After one year of gentle use in my home studio the 6/12 db switch in ch1 stopped working. Now, it is always in 12db position. All other switches are working as expected though.

If 2x15 bands are good enough for your application I would recommend this EQ. The Behringer FBQ1502 is the lowest priced EQ I have seen out there but still a quality/nicely built product. The EQ works just great, no noise, and has internal power supply. I specially like the feedback destroyer feature. There are several switches to bypass the EQ, etc. These switches are cheap and I would like it to have better ones but isn't really important. For the price, 5 stars.
