Perfect for any guitarists who is switching to an in-ear monitor setup and wants to cut down on stage volume. I have used the GI100 for a year on stage and it gives an in-your-face kinda sound to your main house PA. The speaker simulation works well and could be used as direct replacement for a mic. Be sure to have Phantom power on the mixer. I use the preamp out on my amp which IMO is a must. Do not use the amp out to speakers signal because this will not get the desired tone.

These little red boxes are GREAT. I use this as speaker sim for my Sansamp, my Sunn head, or my Fender Princeton Reverb combo. The speaker sim function is very good as is the DI function. It's a great way to throw your amp into the house mixer with little fuss.
