The Behringer EURORACK UB1202 is a 12-input, 2-bus mic/line mixer that boasts 4 state-of-the-art Invisible Mic Preamps (IMPs) You even get an effective, extremely musical 3-band EQ plus switchable low-cut filter on all mono channels. There is also one post-fader aux send per channel for external effects devices; main mix outputs; plus separate control room, headphone, and stereo tape outputs. Tape inputs are assignable to main mix or control room/phones outputs. The UB1202 is an extremely versatile mixer with possibilities ranging from connecting a DAT recorder and monitor speakers to running permanent video and audio installations.

I purchased this mixer as my first of a long line of equipment and have never been happier with it. I used it to plug my acoustic electric guitar and a microphone into my Church's audio system for an easy mix. It worked great and allowed me to control my mix right from where I was. I also have used it for mobile recording in cafes, studios, on stage, and at large concert venues. I also have used it for playing music when I used to be a DJ

My only complaint so far is the lack of a power switch and that the power light is such a bright blue as to be a little distracting. If it's plugged in, it's on. Since I have it on a power strip with some other gear, that's not a major thing, but I would have given it 5 stars if it had the power switch on the unit. I use it to provide a monitor mix along with my click track for drumming and it works great. Great value for the price.

This mixer works great for recording vocals straight into your computers line in input. It doesn't distort any thing unless you turn the gain up way too high. Basically with this mixer you get what you pay for.
