Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP518M Powered Mixer:
I purchased this amp for a project in a church. Behringer, unfortunatly, has a reputation for problematic P.A. equipment. I bought the 3 year warranty to deal with that possible issue. For the cost this is a very nice amplifier and quite versitile. Lots of features. The built in effects are nice. We'll see how well it holds up. I reserve final judgement until that time. Overall, I don't know how you can beat it for the amount of money it costs, unless, of course, it is unreliable. It's too bad Behringer has such a bad rap. They design very good products and then assemble them with unreliable components to keep costs down. I'm hoping to have no issues with this unit.

For the price! Shipping included! No tax (where I live)You can't ask for more. I'm 51 years old, have been in bands for over 35 years. Have built my own home studios etc. I have spent WELL over 100K on stuff through the years. (35 guitars and counting, drums sets, basses, rack gear, amps mike's cables etc. Back in "the day" you could not have touched something like this for For the price! It's not great but For the price whadda ya want?! It has good power, it does what it says it does. My only wish is that I could route separate unique effects to each channel, you can't, but I plug in my I-Touch, through the AUX in jacks, I run a CD player through the last 2 channels with a quarter jack adapter, I run an acoustic guitar through one channel, and a mic through another, hook up 2 PA Cabinets with horns and 12" speakers and dial up a good effect that works for both the acoustic guitar and mike, different levels of effects on each channel. It's all working good. Just for my basement when friends come over to jam, the fan is a little noisy but unaudible when playing. It seems like it is solidly built so I will not hesitate to take it out if I decide to. For the price!! get one!
