Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP1280S Powered Mixer:

Been using this amp since 2009 for a 2 piece acoustic group which plays 30 shows a year.. Running Acoustic, Acoustic Bass, & 2 vocals through it and it's super loud. Paired it with Behringer B215XL speakers through the main channel and also a pair of 10" Peavey's through the monitor channel and I get a very full, rich sound. Run the break music through the 2TR in RCA jacks which is nice because you can leave the music playing and just turn down or up the '2TR' in volume on each channel.

    1600 watts my butt

    By scrondle

Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP1280S Powered Mixer:

I was worried about the wisdom of picking up such an inexpensive powered mixer. Sure enough it started motorboating two weeks in. It's advertised as having 1600 watts. I replaced it with a QSC power amp rated at 900 watts and it is at least twice as loud. The QSC GX3 and a cheap mixer are a better way to go. Resist the temptation. With a little research you can put something together for the same money that will sound twice as good.

    Great Amp

    By Phil-jO7w.

    from Baltimore, MD

Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP1280S Powered Mixer:

I bought this for our church tent revival, so I haven't gotten to use in in the venue I purchased it for. But the delivery was speedy (3 days) and I immediately hooked it up and tested it out at my home. I picked up two Peavey PS15's to use with it, and hooked up my computer to play mp3 files through the tape/cd input. Man! The sound that came out with the volume only 1/4 up shook the whole house. The voice canceler doesn't work all that great (just deadens the sound in one channel), but all the other features work great. The extreeme light weight and small footprint are a plus since I'll be hauling this to an outdoor event, then using it in a small church.
