Great Mic for Bass / Baritone

By RedEyeC

from Deming, NM.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT2010 Handheld Condenser Microphone:

I just got this mic in yesterday and recorded a song with it. Fantastic mic for the lower range vocals! I sing in a tenor range and all my other mics are suited well for higher vocal range. But am recording a few songs in a baritone range, and the mics sounded too thin (in my opinion) - this AT2010 really fattened up my lower range. Highly recommend this mic!

Great mike

Comments about Audio-Technica AT2010 Handheld Condenser Microphone:

I purchased one of these and hurriedly ordered another to have a pair after testing. Frequency response and self noise are excellent. I use these on a stand or boom but found the handling noise to be fairly low. Not as low as a SM58 though. The pickup pattern allows use of a floor monitor if the performer needs one though I use these in my studio. I did have in mind using them on the road if needed.
