HeadAmp 4 Stereo Headphone Amp
Most home recordings involve from one to four people, any or all of whom are going to need headphone monitoring. The monitor amp would be connected to the tape deck's headphone output or a mixer output so that the performers can hear themselves and each other. Of course, the same application can apply to band rehearsals and even home entertainment. HeadAMP provides amplification and individual volume control for up to 4 headsets. It can be driven by either line-level or headphone amplifier signals (mono or stereo).
G40DX Headphones
The Gear One G40DX Stereo Headphones have a lightweight and comfortable design. These full-frequency headphones collapse for easy transport and storage. The G40DX headphones are fully adjustable and have an attached 8' cable with a 3.5mm stereo jack. A ΒΌ" stereo adapter is included.

For a great starter headphone amp that does what it promises, look no further.
Lets be honest, this is not top notch, top dollar equipment. But after searching all over the internet and pricing these things, this is the best deal. The kicker is the 4 free headphones. While they are not full "studio" headphones, when powered by the amp, they put out good sound. Very happy with this purchase.
Note - you will need a T/R/S patch cable to hook from the device to your sound output. If you dont have this, you will only hear sound in one ear. Most likely you have one (these have 2-3 black rings on the jack as oppsed to just a single black ring on the jack.)

When I place the headphones into the amp, I can only get sound in one ear. I have to pull the plug out half way to get sound in both ears. However, once I do that, it's GREAT... you can change the volume to individual headphones depending on your preference. Eventhough you get 4 headphones with this purchase, the amp holds up to 8.
