These clamps seem to be at a great price for what you get. As others have noted, for heavier items you have to shim the opening (with something like duct tape) to make the opening a tad smaller so the clamp will hold at any angle. I leave the clamps on the truss, so this is something I only have to do once. These would definitely be 5 star clamps if the opening was 1/8" or so smaller in diameter and the tightening screw had a washer.

Versatile O-clamps that go from 1.5" to 2". I use two together, back to back connected with a shorter bolt and make a double swivel O-clamp to connect 2 pipes on a different axis. Well worth the small cost!!!

I own already 5 of these and both some more to complete my gig. They are strong enough to hold in place all kinds of gear I have except by moving heads I'm kind afraid to try yet.
