The Musicians Gear Pocket Record SD Digital Recorder is equipped with leading edge digital recording technology, excellent sound quality, and it's easy to operate. The hand-held recorder is suitable for capturing the sound of acoustic instruments, electric guitars, keyboards, MP3 players, interviews, educational presentations, band rehearsals, and field recordings.
The Pocket Record boasts 128MB of built-in flash memory with an SD memory card slot that accepts 16MB - 4GB SD cards. (Not compatible with SDHC cards). Pocket Record SD digital recorder has a 1-year limited warranty.

I purchased this item (Sept. '09) because of the price, and the few favorable reviews here. I had several problems with it: lost recordings, skipping, shutting off while recording. I returned it (April '10), received a replacement, haven't opened it yet. Read the numerous user reviews at Musician's Friend and elsewhere: the majority describe similar problems. Spend a little more and get a reliable product: shame on any dealer still carrying this item.

save your money and buy a good recorder. mine is 3 days old and won't even turn on. i have an hour of our band and now i can't even listen to it.i am sending it back!

I bought this recorder for my wife and she has been pleased with it. She plays with a small combo and wanted an easy way to record a rehearsal. The sound quality from the small internal speaker is not great, but playing back through my sound system works fine. Also uploading to my computer provides provides good sound. For the money and simplicity, I recommend this unit. Thank You' Stewart Townsend

Easy to use, good quality digital recorder, and an outstanding price. Mic preamps are not very strong, typical of this type of recorder, but they get the job done. Built in mics work very well. Medium volume works great for dictation. Music123 is a great place to buy it, fast service, no problems at all. Highly recommended.
