I first used this brand new sub at a wedding reception at the Jimmy Carter Center in Atlanta, Georgia in the summer of 2012. The sub provided me the much needed lows I was missing from my set, due to a recently purchased new Active Behringer B1500D Pro dyeing on me at the annual 2012 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Marathon held in spring. I always thought the Behringer had no competition, but I was wrong. The Alto matched the Behringer in all my sound expectations and is about 30 lbs lighter than the Behringer. (This is significant for mobile djs that need to transport equipment several times a month).
This is a great product and is available when needed. I tried waiting for Behringer to send to its distributor's new subs, but the orders were 2 months back ordered. As a small business owner, this simply couldn't work for me.
The active sub complemented my passive Yamaha S115V's well, during my music sets I was mixing at the wedding reception. Every dj deserves a great sub; these things elevate any music performance or experience.
ALTO - well done for a great product. Your competition in this business is very much appreciated. Kudos!
