MBOX or Alesis?
Comments about Alesis MultiMix 4 USB Compact Mixer:
My wife and I both record VO and scratch tracks at home in our little booth. Resisting the urge we originally bought USB mics for recording. Monitoring was a problem so we decided to get a mixer and XLR mic. We're on a budget, so we went for the Alesis Multimix USB mixer and Nady SM 800 studio mic. The combination is fantastic...A few tweaks with Adobe Audition and you're good to go. Highly recommended. Music 123 was fast and easy to deal with too.
